Tickwage

Enter your hourly rate or salary and your shift, and Tickwage counts up what you have earned today, second by second, until you clock out.

For iPhone (iOS 16.4 or later) and Android. Free, with no account and no ads.

Tickwage showing $135.92 earned today, the next payday in 11 days, and this week and this year totals

Key features

  • Hourly first, overtime included

Pay by the hour or a yearly salary. Hourly pay past 40 hours a week is counted at 1.5x, and the real hourly rate shows what an hour of your time is worth.

  • Payday countdown

Weekly, every two weeks, the 15th and last day, or monthly. A payday that lands on a weekend moves to the Friday before, and a reminder arrives that morning.

  • Take-home estimate

Turn on after-tax pay to see a rough estimate using federal brackets for a single filer, Social Security and Medicare, and a state rate you can adjust.

Estimates only. Tickwage works from the schedule you enter, not from your employer's payroll, and it is not tax or financial advice.

On your home screen and lock screen

Add the Tickwage widget to see today's pay and the days left until payday without opening the app. The paid-break timer shows what you earned on a coffee run or a bathroom break, and you can share the card as an image.
